Off the Streets BFT (Bridgeport, Fairfield and Trumbull) announces their Spring Donation Drop-off Day, taking place on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Our Lady of the Assumption Church located at 545 Stratfield Road (Rte. 59) in Fairfield, CT.
If you’re doing some hefty spring cleaning after this long, cold winter, please consider donating your clean, in-good-condition furniture, housewares, small appliances, and/or linens (no junk, please). Because of the humble nature of clients’ apartments, OTS can only accept compact and utilitarian items like small dining/kitchen tables, twin-sized beds, etc. All of these items help furnish humble apartments when OTS clients are placed in their new homes.
Donors will receive a receipt for their donations during the scheduled drop-off time. Donation to Off the Streets is tax deductible, in accordance with the law.
