Second annual OTS gala dinner reception to help end homelessness.

This year’s OTS gala dinner reception, benefitting Off the Streets BFT takes place on Saturday, October 1, 2016 and will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church Hall located at 545 Stratfield Road in Fairfield, CT.  More details about this fundraising event will appear shortly, but now is the perfect time to save the date!

Food, wine, and fun are on the menu at this year’s OTS Gala.

Like last year, this evening event includes a delicious, fully catered menu, entertainment, and lively social atmosphere. So go ahead and mark your calendars for what is promising to be a fun evening, while, at the same time, help get the homeless off the streets in the greater Bridgeport area! Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy an evening of fun, food, and friendship while helping us in our mission to end homelessness, one person at a time!

Last year’s inaugural gala proved to be a huge success from a fundraising viewpoint, as well as from an attendee viewpoint.  The gala net proceeds raised over $5,000 which directly and positively impacted multiple homeless clients in the area by providing security deposits and basic home furnishings which helped clients get a new start in their lives off the streets.

All net proceeds from the Off the Streets BFT Gala Dinner Reception directly benefits OTS’ mission of helping the homeless help themselves, one person at a time by providing much needed security deposits and basic furniture and household needs to get the homeless off the streets and into a home.

Please see the event listing at events, for updates and more details about the gala including time, menu, ticket prices and purchasing options.

About Off the Streets

Off the Streets provides the much needed security deposits for apartment rentals along with basic household needs including furniture, dishes, bedding, etc., which are most often the only hurdles in getting a homeless person into housing.  By cutting through the red-tape, OTS can mobilize to help someone off the streets and into their new home in as few as two days!
